Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
Bartoncraft Boutique (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website and related inventory services. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use this site (including pages served from our hosting environment) and when you interact with features such as our catalog, contact form, or staff sign-in.
Information we collect
- Website and technical data. When you browse the public site, our servers and hosting providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, approximate region derived from IP, date and time of requests, and pages viewed. We may use this information to operate the site, maintain security, and understand aggregate usage.
- Contact form. If you use the Contact page, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit. We send your message to our support email using Microsoft Azure communication services and may keep a record in application logs. The page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated submissions; Cloudflare may process technical data when the check runs (see Cloudflare’s privacy documentation). Do not include sensitive personal information (such as full payment card numbers or government IDs) in your message.
- Administrator sign-in. Staff who manage inventory may sign in with Google. When you use Google to authenticate, Google shares certain account information with us (such as your email address and profile identifiers) as permitted by your Google account settings and Google’s policies. We store account details needed to operate sign-in and role-based access in our systems.
- Inventory and catalog data. Product and ribbon information you see on the site (including images) is stored and delivered through our hosting and storage services.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function, including security features (for example, protection against cross-site request forgery) and, for signed-in staff, session or authentication cookies that keep you logged in. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent some features from working.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide and improve the website and inventory tools;
- Respond to contact inquiries and operate our business;
- Authenticate authorized staff and protect administrative areas;
- Maintain security, debug issues, and comply with law.
Service providers
We rely on trusted third-party services to run the site, which may process information on our behalf. These may include: hosting and database providers (for example, Microsoft Azure), cloud storage for images, optional analytics or monitoring tools (for example, Microsoft Application Insights), and Google for OAuth sign-in. Their use of data is governed by their respective privacy policies and our agreements with them.
Retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Log and analytics data may be retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information, or to object to or restrict some processing. To exercise these rights or ask questions, contact us using the information on our Contact page. We may need to verify your request before responding.
Children’s privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.
